Mike smiled to himself as he walked back to the bar where Bah and Lauren still were. Mike sighed, he couldn't remember the last time he had ever felt this way before. He wasn't even sure if he had felt like this at all. Meg was just so beautiful and so wonderful that he just couldn't seem to get her off his mind.
Mike finally reached the bar and headed inside to see Bah and Lauren still talking. He joined the lovebirds at their table. They didn't even seem to realize that Mike had just joined them.
"Hello?" asked Mike. Bah tore his gaze away from Lauren.
"Oh hey man, where's Meg?" he asked. Mike raised an eyebrow and replied, "I walked her home." Hoping that would be enough information to help Bah and Lauren remember that they had left the table.
"Oh ok." said Bah. Lauren glanced over at Mike who seemed to be deep in thought.
"4:20 pm, Harper's Field, tomorrow." she said.
"Huh?" asked Mike, a bit confused.
"Meg has a game tomorow at 4:20 at Harper's Field tomorow." said Lauren.
"Really?" asked Mike. Lauren nodded, "That's what I said."
"Hmm...." said Mike, a small smiled curved across his already lit up face, "I'll see you gutys tomorrow." Mike got up from his seat and left the bar. Bah couldn't help but chuckle.
"And he thought he wasn't gonna meet a chick tonight." he joked. Lauren raised an eye brow and folded her arms across her chest. Bah looked over at her and got a bit scared.
"What?" he asked.
"Chick?" asked Lauren, almost insulted.
"Sorry, I meant girl." said Bah, trying to fix his mistake. Lauren still kept giving him that look.
"Lady?" asked Bah.
"You know you're just digging yourself deeper into a hole." said Lauren teasingly.
"Yeah I know." replied Bah, blushing
"Female would have worked." said Lauren in a teasing sort of tone. Bah was impressed. Usually the girls he hung around were all ditzy and stupid, but not Lauren, or Meg for that matter. They were spirited, not afraid to speak their minds and very powerful. Lauren was the first girl that had ever made Bah feel inferiour to.
"So where in New York are you from?" asked Bah, obviously trying to change the subject.
"How do you know I'm from NY?" asked Lauren colyly.
"Well, you're obviously not originally from Minnesota." said Bah matter-of-factly.
"How can you tell?" asked Lauren.
"Your accent." replied Bah.
"Your right," said Lauren, "I'm from the suburbs of NYC."
"What brought you to Minnesota?" asked Bah.
"Meg and a journalism scholarship." replied Lauren. Bah smiled boyishly. Lauren started blushing.
"I better go now." she said stupidly. She got up from her seat and started toward the door, but Bah stopped her.
"Will I see you tomorrow?" he asked. Lauren shrugged and said, "I hope so." She smield one last time and then left.
Lauren walked back to her apartment she shared with meg smiling to herself thinking of the handsome guy she met tonight and was glad she met him; she loved his goofiness and his smile and everything about him; she was also glad she got meg out tonight; her and mike seemed to really like each other alot and couldn't wait to see what happens with all this. She walked up to the door and walked in and went back to her room and went to sleep; seeing that meg was already asleep. She fell asleep with a big smile on her face thinking of her hockey man.
